Unlike other spirits, the Honkaku shochu is only distilled once, so the quality of the raw materials used directly impact the quality of the final product. Implementing traceability, with the cooperation of the farmers, we made it possible to clearly trace “what species of sweet potato was planted, when and where it was planted, and by whom.”
Never forgetting to give thanks to the bountiful earth, we will continue to make Honkaku shochu with quality as our priority.
