Our Message
Aged for at least 1 year before shipment to bring out the shochu’s flavors. The excess oils—that appear due to the temperature difference in the storage tank and outside atmosphere throughout the year—is removed by hand to retain the rich taste that is not present in shochu that have gone through cold filtration.

“Mayuko Sweet” has a mellow sweetness typical of Imo shochu. The low-pressure distillation minimizes the sweet potato’s bad odors and gives it a mild and elegant taste, making it adequately enjoyable for those who dislike shochu or foreigners who are not used to drinking shochu.
